I lavori di ristrutturazione furono affidati alla scenografo del Teatro Carlo Felice, il teatro dell Opera genovese. Egli studiò una serie di paesaggi che potessero raccontare una storia secondo lo stile Romantico dell'epocaEntrance to the Villa Pallavicini. It is known for its Historic Park built by Marchese Ignazio Alessandro Pallavicini between 1840 and 1846. The works were directed by the scene designer of Teatro Carlo Felice, Genoa Opera House. He studied a group of landscapes which mighttell a tale accordingly to Romantic Style fashionable at the time.

RispondiEliminaI just love these pictures, Rosanna! All the different temples and pavillions in 1 park :). The lighthouse is 1000 years old? It look so modern. You know, we always think we know how an ancient lighthouse look like. I remembered I was so surprised when I found out that one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world is a lighthouse (long time ago when I played Civilisation) It was then the 3rd tallest building in the world, after the 2 pyramids :), hardly the lighthouse we know now.

Such a beautiful city to live in and play tourist in! We just have a dog park and a Walmart here in Elk Grove! Your city is much more interesting!
