Hi Rosanna, Your mini work is amazing, and what a thrill to see photographs of it in so many places around the world. All of the photos are lovely, but my favorite is the second photo of Mely's in her greenhouse. Your bag is shown off perfectly. The lighting is beautiful, and the contrasting colors really accentuate the bag's beautiful features. All those tiny stitches--by hand--wow! I would love to participate in this giveaway. RispondiEliminama bisogna votare la foto o il tuo lavoro?? perchè nel secondo caso c'è davvero l'imbarazzo della scelta, sono tutti ricami meravigliosi, e a parte quelli che possiedo io, che amo profondamente, direi che le pantofoline sono anche deliziose!!
ma se si deve votare la foto, ne ho due: la terrazza di Mely e la pasticceria di Martha, che mi hanno lasciato a bocca aperta per il realismo e il contesto davvero adeguato alla tua miniatura!
so che dovrei votare per una sola ma davvero non so quale scegliere delle due... magari se ci sarà un ballotaggio avremo la possibilità di rivotare???

Rosanna, This is Very Difficult!!! Every one of your Tea Cozies and Egg Cozies and Pillows and Slippers are just Gorgeous and All so Lovingly displayed in the Homes they were sent to! But if I have to choose a Favorite it is Sans' doll stitching the Peacock Tapestry! Your work is SO amazing and the original and varied designs you stitch are so much Fun as well as Beautiful! It is a treat to see so many lovely Homes with your creations!

Such a clever idea to organise this peek at your beautiful embroidery in so many totally different, and gorgeous, projects from all around the world. It's extremely difficult to choose but I'll vote for Sans because her setting is so unusual and imaginative.

RispondiEliminaRo, these wonderful pieces just go to show how you must never ever abandon your embroidery and mini-making. Your work is a gift, a talent that must be nurtured and pursued or it will be a great loss to this community.
I'll have to say I love all the pictures, all those with the egg cozies that travelled with me to the homes of wonderful people who shared their homes and hospitality hold really special meaning. Birgit's, Sylvia's , Eva's.
I picked those egg cozies because they are really outstanding pieces. Although your peacock will always hold the top special place in my heart.
Can I just say also that the sunflower pillow which you did for Kikka will be the one I choose for "favourite pillow".
Great settings pictures will have to include Mely's, Martha's and Cockerina's.
Your embroidery brightens up even simple setting like Linda's Marie's and Patrizia's.
Seriously, it is my view that every piece showcased here has gone to really good homes.
Oh, so very lovely-everything! It was hard but I chose the peacock.
