4° Compleanno - 4th Birthday

§ Quattro anni di blog, quattro anni di grandi soddisfazioni e di continue nuove scoperte.

Purtroppo ultimamente ho trascurato questa parte della mia vita che è diventata così importante: non me ne vogliate, vi seguo sempre con affetto ma non riesco più a starvi così vicina come vorrei.

La vita in scala 1:1, nel bene e nel male, si intromette troppo.

Volevo ringraziarvi per tutto ciò che mi avete regalato in questi magnifici, velocissimi anni, siete tutti importantissimi per me.

Alas I havely lately neglected this part of my life which is so important to me: please, bear with me, I always follow you with great affection but I cannot be as close as I'd love to.

Life i 1:1 scale, either in good and bad, intrudes too much.

I wanted to thank you for what you have given to me during these wonderful, far too fast years, you are all very important to me.

 

§  Ma perchè la bandiera Inglese ?
Perchè oggi parto per Londra con la mia carissima amica Sabrina. E' un caso che si parta proprio oggi ma è un caso fortunato.

Because today I am leaving for London with my dearest friend Sabrina. It is just by chance that we are leaving today but it is a lucky chance.

§ Domani saremo al KDF e poi fino a martedì felicemente in giro per la città.

Mini e Poesia - Minis and Poetry

§  Venerdì sera a Genova  ho incontrato una persona speciale.
E' una poetessa , un'artista ed una miniaturista .
Si chiama Angela Mambelli e scrive poesie e racconta storie con l'ausilio di room boxes che vengono manipolate e fotografate in scena.

Writing on the wall says: To me it is not a game

§  On Friday night I met a special person.
She is a poet , an artist and a miniaturist .
Her name is Angela Mambelli and she writes poems and tells stories with the aid of room boxes which are manipulated and shooted live on stage.

§ Venerdì ho assistito ad una sua performance all'interno dello spettacolo dell'associazione culturale Duplex Ride e ho potuto vedere , e toccare, dal vivo le sue creazioni.

§ On Friday night I attended to her performance inside the show of the Duplex Ride cultural association 

§ Sono rimasta affascinata dal suo modo di intendere il mini mondo, non fine a sè stesso , chiuso nell'autocelebrazione della perfetta riproduzione del mondo reale ma aperto ad altre forme d'arte.

In effetti forse ho davvero capito per la prima volta quanto siano ampie le possibilità di espressione di un mondo così piccino.

§ I have been fascinated by her way of exploring mini world, not as something which is  an end in itself , close in the selfglorifying ability of perfect reproduction of real world but open to different forms of art.

Actually may be for the first time I truly understood how huge are the chances of expression in such a minuscule world.

18 anni

§ Ci siamo, il mio bambino è diventato grande ma grande davvero !

§ Il mio bambino è maggiorenne e sembra solo ieri che lo tenevo in braccio timorosa perchè temevo che si rompesse.
Era così piccolo e fragile , così tenero eppure così forte e nei suoi occhi si specchiava il mondo.

§ My baby is of age and it seems only yesterday that I held him in my arms fearful that he might break.
He was so small and fragile , so tender and yet so strong and the whole world was mirrored in his eyes.

How is Singapore ?

E' una città dove gli alberi crescono sui pianerottoli
It is a city where trees grow on the landings

Dove puoi trovare case decorate di panna montata
Where you can find houses decorated with whipped cream

Altre con giardini sul tetto e stelle sui muri
Others with gardens on the rooftops and stars on the walls

Dove al 5° piano della Biblioteca Nazionale crescono le palme

Where you find birds big and small

Una città che ama le sue radici , vicine all'Europa  ....

This post is dedicated to all the wonderfull persons I met during my two weeks trip to Singapore.

Old friends and new friends have made it the best time I enjoyed in the last period.

I shall never thank them enough.
