Regali - Presents

§ Sono in ritardo, lo so. Ma da quando sono tornata ho sempre lavorato a tempo pieno e sono un po' stanchina. 

Vi ricordate Forrest Gump dopo la sua lunga corsa ? beh, qualcosa del genere....

Ma non potevo non mostrarvi i bellissimi regali  ricevuti dalle mie amichette.

§ I am late, I know. But since I came back I have always worked full time and I am a bit tired.

Do you remember Forrest Gump after his long run ? well, something of the sort ...

But I couldn't delay more in showing you the beautiful presents I received. 

 § La valigia del Sig Nylon con libri ed opuscoli su Auckland , la sua terra natale. La borsina ha 20 anni mentre l'acquarello è opera della mamma di Mercedes. Grazie mille Signora.

§ Mr Nylon's suitcase brim filled with books and pamphlets on Auckland, his native land. The little bag is 20 years old while the watercolour is by Mercedes' Mum. Thank you very much Madam.

§ Mercedes mi ha viziata   -    Mercedes spoilt me

 § Questo è stato un dono totalmente inaspettato: Frederica , tramite Mercedes, mi ha mandato queste delizie, la coperta lavorata a maglia e l'orsetto nella cesta. Dovreste toccarli per capire quanto siano meravigliosi.
§ This was a totally unespected gift : Frederica sent me these cuties by means of Mercedes, a knitted blanket and a little bear with its basket. You would touch them to realize how wonderful they are.

 § Questi sono alcuni dei doni di Sylvia , lo zoccoletto ed il piatto di ceramica, il quaderno dei bimbi Olandesi e lei, la coperta all'uncinetto !!  se avessi mai osato chiederle qualcosa sarebbe stata una coperta. Bellissima.
§ These are some of Sylvia's gifts , the china shoe and plate , the Dutch kids notebook and she , the crochetted blanket !! if I ever dared asking her for something I'd have asked a blanket. Totally beautiful.

§ Questa scatola è un altro regalo di Sylvia ed è una cosa MOLTO particolare.
Infatti è piena di paglia e veniva usata dalle massaie Olandesi per tenere in caldo le pentole con il cibo pronto per essere consumato. Un'idea geniale e Sylvia, come sempre, l'ha realizzato splendidamente.
§ This box comes from Sylvia too and it is a MOST particular thing.
Actually it's filled with straw and it was used by Dutch housewives to keep pots warm with the ready made food. A clever idea and Sylvia , as always, has reproduced it wonderfully.

§ Ed infine i regali di Sabiha ....mooolto sexy ;o)

 § Last but not least Sabiha's presents ..... veeeery  sexy ;o)

§ Insieme a questo fantastico set da bagno : guardate i boccioli di rosa...sono fiori VERI ! Lo adoro.
§ Along it came this fabulous bathroom set : look at the rose buds ....these are REAL flowers ! I just love it.

§ Inoltre ho ricevuto materiale grezzo, consigli ed un sacco di affetto . Molto meglio che a Natale :o)))
§ Then I got raw materials , advices and a lot of affection. Much better than Christmas :o)))

PS I know that, most probably, you would have liked to wear ear plugs when I was there but believe me, it was only because I was so happy to share time with you.
