L'idea brillante di Birgit e un giveaway - Birgit's clever idea and a giveaway

§ Birgit had a veeeeery clever idea, something which I truly loved.

She collected the pics of her Bears who have found a new home and she is posting them on her Sunday blog.

§ Birgit ha avuto un'idea moooolto brillante, un'idea che mi piace da morire.

Ha raccolto le foto dei suoi Orsi che hanno trovato una nuova casa e sta scrivendo dei posts sul suo blog domenicale.

§  I think it is very nice because our works are our babies, well, sort of, and it is wonderful to know where they are "living" now.

§ Penso sia molto carino perchè i nostri lavori sono i nostri bambini, beh, più o meno, ed è meraviglioso vedere dove "vivono" adesso.

§  These are some of my works, all of them, but one, have found new  landscapes.
Some of them travelled far far away to the antipodes while some are still in Old Europe.

§ Qui ci sono alcuni dei miei lavori, tutti tranne uno, hanno trovato nuovi orizzonti.
Qualcuno ha viaggiato lontanissimo fino agli antipodi mentre altri sono ancora nella Vecchia Europa.

§ Come preannunciato ecco una prima infornata dei miei nuovi lavori,una serie di mini cuscini.
Uno per ogni mese dell'anno ed ognuno con un simbolo del mese.

§ As foretold here is a first batch of my new works,a group of mini pillows.
One for each month of the year and each one bearing a symbol of the month.

Tarda Primavera - Late Spring

§  Tarda Primavera perchè siamo sempre più vicini all'Estate ma anche perchè qui a Genova , nonostante il sole splendente, fa sempre freddo a causa del vento.
§ Late Spring because we are approaching Summer but also because here in Genoa , although the sun shines, it is always cold because of the winds.

§ I fiori sono tutti fatti da me a partire dai kits di Pascale Garnier, Templewood Miniatures e Carol .

Tutti tranne il meraviglioso mazzo di fiori dono di Sandra e la mini piantina dono di Mercedes

§ I made all the flowers starting from kits by Pascale Garnier, Templewood Miniatures and Carol.

All of them apart from the wonderful bunch gift by Sandra and the tiny plant gift by Mercedes.

§   Ho provato a riunire un pochino di fiori , simbolo della Primavera , per dimenticare di dover portare il golfino in casa :o(
§ I tried to gather some flowers, symbol of Spring , to forget that I have to wear a jumper at home :o(

§ E ho anche ricamato un nuovo cuscino che sembra sempre felice :o)
§ And I also stitched a new pillow which looks always happy :o)

Friends make life special

§  Poco più di un mese fa ero all 'areoporto di Lubecca , sola soletta, e già sentivo la mancanza delle due care amiche che avevo appena salutato.
§ A little bit more than 1 month ago I was at Lubeck aiport , all alone, and already missing the two dear friends whom I waved goodbye to only a few minutes sooner .

§ L' areoporto è PICCOLISSIMO ! ma ha un' edicola :o))  dove ho trovato una rivista Francese di punto croce dove ho trovato due schemi perfetti per l' occasione.
§ The airport is TINY ! but it has a bookstall :o)) where I found a French cross stitch mag featuring two patterns perfect for the occasion .

 § Li ho un po' arrangiati , modificati ed ecco il risultato : un cuscino ed un copriteiera che sono un inno all'amicizia.
§ I bashed them , modifing them and here is the result : one pillow and a teacozy which are a hymn to friendship.

§ Oggi  mi sono divertita a giocarci un pochino ma da stasera saranno nel mio Etsy per chi volesse adottarli .
§ Today I played a bit wih them but from tonight on they will be on my Etsy to be adopted by a loving person.

§  Qui potete vederlo INGRANDITO , dal vero sono molto più piccini e carini
§ Here you can see it ENLARGED , in real size they are way cuter and smaller.

§  Ho usato mezzo punto, punto croce, punto nodini e punto scritto sempre sul mio amatissimo lino che è il mio tessuto preferito in assoluto
§ I used cross stich, half stich , french knots and back stitch on my beloved linen which is absolutely  my favourite fabric.

§  Se ve lo state chiedendo ..... sì, il "tessuto" a quadretti è ricamato , come tutto il resto :o)
§ If you are wondering ..... yes, the gingham cloth is stitched as well , like all the rest :o)

§  La seggiolina è di Vilia Miniatures,  il piattino a foglia è di Veronique Cornish , la teiera è stata acquistata in un negozio a Milano e non conosco l'autore così come per la tazza.
Il libro è un kit di Paper Minis , il vassoio è di McQueenie Miniatures mentre le micro cupcakes sono  di Cindy ossia Snowfern Clover.
§ The chair is by Vilia Miniatures , the leaf dish is by Veronique Cornish , the teapot was bought in a shop in Milan like the cup and I don't know the maker name.
The book is a kit by Paper Minis , the butler tray is by McQueenie Miniatures while the micro cupcakes are by Cindy aka Snowfern Clover.

§ Ho aggiunto tre cuscinetti al mio negozietto Etsy.

Il tempo è tiranno ma il freddo degli ultimi giorni mi ha costretto in casa così ho potuto fare qualcosina di nuovo.

Spero vi piacciano come piacciono a me.

§ I added three little cushions to my little Etsy.
My time is very short but the weather has been so cold lately that I was compelled to stay at home and I could make something new.
I hope you like them as much as I do.
