Questa nella realtà è in Galles, è stata costruita nel 1475 da due fuorilegge che la usavano come nascondiglio!
Le leggende locali dicono che fu costruita in una notte per poter usufruire della legge che stabiliva che una casa costruita dal tramonto all'alba, " purchè avesse quattro mura, un tetto e un fuoco acceso, diventasse di totale proprietà di colui che l'aveva innalzata.
Vorrei che fosse così facile adesso!
The ugly house
This is the new entry in my Lilliput Lane collection; it is the Ugly House and it has been presented to me by Walter who knows how much I love small houses.
This is in Wales, it has been built in1475 by two outlaw brothers who used it as a hideout.
Local legends tell that it has been built in one night according to a law that stated that, if a house was built "between sunset and the following sunrise", as long as it had walls, a roof and a smoking chimney, it became freehold of the builders.
I wish it could be that easy nowdays!
