I did not join in the swap because I am always so busy this time of the year . . . but it sounds like so much fun!
Thank you for visiting me today. A hope chest is a thing of the past. It's "intention" was for a young woman to collect her dowry for when she got married. In it were stored linens, perhaps the wedding gown of her mother, china, etc . . .
