Bianco Natale - White Christmas

§ Oggi è nevicato !!!
Un evento eccezionale in questo periodo dell'anno.
Non so se sperare che duri fino a Natale oppure augurarmi un bell'acquazzone che lavi tutte le strade....
§ Today the snow arrived !!!
An exceptional event at this time of year.
I do not not if I should wish it to last till Christmas or if it would be better a good shower....

A winter wonderland!

It is winter here too... but NO snow! And it is highly unlikely that it will ever... We still have hot days!

It looks very romantic but I'm glad I don't have to go out in it to do my Christmas shopping :)

Isn't that a beautiful sight! Half of Europe is covered in snow now. I love it, and the kids are having so much fun with it. Perfect now that the Christmas vacation has started.

I heard on the news this morning about all the snow in European countries, but missed most of the story so did not know all the countries involved. It is pretty to look at, but hard to get around in. People here DO NOT know how to drive in snow!

It's fab snow and glad you got some too. Needs to be shared more fairly, lol.
I love snow but in some ways hate it with everyone coming in soaked and freezing.
I think Debbies boys are waiting for it to get to them. Hope they get some so they can have fun too!

No snow here. Cold and sunny today. Your pictures are always so lovely. Thanks so much for showing us what it like to live in Italy. It is a dream of mine to go there some day. I'm Italian. Both my grandparents were from Italy. "Lovisone" was their last name. For now I will be happy with your pictures. Hugs~ Kim

No snow here yet, but maybe tomorrow?
Right now it's cold and raining...
A good night for staying home with a cup of tea.

bella la neve.. vista da fuori la finestra!!
ma quando devi andare al lavoro o a fare la spesa al supermercato magari a piedi, e tornare carica di buste rischiando di scivolare... bè io preferirei un natale ai Caraibi.. ah ah!!

There is nothing that indicates the christmas season more than snow! Every christmas card, chocolate box, or window display...even here in Australia has snow.....which is really silly for us, as it is summer....but snow means christmas and christmas means snow!

Enjoy....wish I was there!!

O yes snow is definitely linked to the Christmas feeling. In eastern parts of Norway the temperature reached minus 36 degrees yesterday!!!!! But fortunately it´s on it´s way down, but then there will be more snow!
I am traveling to the west coast for Christmas, with almost no snow and temperature abut 0 degrees, looks a bit like your Italy pictures Rosanna!

Christmas hug,

No snow here or ever will there be. The closest we had was an ice blizzard decade ago. Its always beautiful in picture and up close when you realise each snow flake really does look like a Xmas ornament :).
