§ Papillon Bleu, go to her blog, it's a gold mine of ideas and creativity, has launched the idea of posting on France, her home country.
What does France mean to each one of us ?
To me it is the thrill of a holiday abroad 2 hours far from my home :o)
§ To me France is not in its grand buildings: we have so many of them in Italy, we do not have to look for them elsewhere.
France is Luberon, a region I love, blue sky. It is its well kept house and alleys even in its smallest villages. This is Lauris.
§ France are the unwaited for details which brighten up an otherwise dull street.
§ France are the Roussilon ochres, wonderful natural sculptures. A small Gran Canyon at your hand.
§ France is the brave use of bold colours to add character to a room. This is the dining room at Chateau de Cheverny.
§ France is asking for a coffee in a wee provincial caffé and being brought a small wonder which satisfies the sight sooner than the taste.
§ I hope you liked my France.

Thanks for the tour of a very pretty place. The last photo looks like a tray of tasty treats.
Do we like it?
YES WE DOOO!
Lovely pics of France, Rosanna
Ro,your France is so vastly different from mine. I am sorry but I was not crazy about Paris. Maybe it's because I was only there for 2 days and I only saw the usual touristy places and it was almost 20 years ago. And I could not understand the language.
Your France is warm, unexpected, quaint and delicious. Although I suspect, Italy will be all that and more. I can't wait!
I love your photos of France Rosanna...they are all beautiful! Your are 2 hours from France, I am 23 hours away....!! But it is well worth the trip. I shall 'google' one of the villages you showed, it looked lovey.
Regards, Linda x
