the pink room
At the moment I'm stitching, if not fast at least furious , hence I've nothing new to show to you.
Then I decided to show you an old work: the pink room.
I'm very proud of it because it's the first thing I did after having sworn of not having anything to do with minis anymore. I did promised myself not to buy anything and I nearly succeded.
The pic on the mantel shelf is Walter's and mine while the other one is Matteo's.
It has been published on http://www.workshopminiature.net/ webzine, I hope you'll like it.
If you click on the pic it will pop up bigger.
Marsha, can you spot any pink? ;o))
Mercedes, can you see the tea set? :o))

Soooooooo pretty! So pink! I love it all. That little fish on the mantle!!! How cute! The furniture! The table cloth - that fabric is beautiful! All the gorgeous details, the tea set is perfect in that room. All your mini food!!
Why had you sworn off miniatures???
Mercedes
What a lovely room--pink is one of my favorite colors. I'm so glad you didn't stay away from minis for too long!
How pretty, and love the detail.
Thanks for stopping by. The house is beautiful, but don't think I could live there. First, I would have to get rid of the "Pepto" Pink colored walls, the overload of the silk flower arrangements and heavy clutter typical of the Victoria era - but that is just me. :-)

Rosanna what a beautiful room.
Rosanna, your rooms are always so beautifully detailed. Love the scene that got you back into minis. I am curious. Why did you swear off of miniatures?
Rosanna, You should be very proud of this little room, it is a delight! I think it does pay to 're-post' items we have already shown, as sometimes we don't have the time to go all the way back through a blog and read every thing!
Regards,
Linda
The room is stunningly beautiful! Each detail is amazing.
So why did you swear off miniatures?
You must tell us why you were nearly off minis because I may feel that way soon ! And I have hardly started haha!
It is amazing that you made many of the things for the room yourself. Very proud of you!
Cerrrto...ti preparo volentieri qualche infradito colorate, fammi sapere se hai preferenze di colore.
Un saluto
Roberta
