genova

I have to share with you this day.
Not even a mini, the weather was TOO splendid to stay at home. For the first time in a looong period we have had a real genoise day: sun, no wind and hot.
I have strolled to Boccadasse wich is only 10 minutes walk from my house and it is one of most beautiful corner of Genoa.
Boccadasse in dialect means "Donkey mouth" and really the small haven looks like the result of a good bite.
The first picture is the little gulf of Vernazzola with its centuries old houses.
The mountain on the background, in the middle of the sea, is the mount of Portofino.
Today, As many, many other times I've felt blessed by heaven to be born in a wonderful place.
