Poco, pochissimo tempo ma il desiderio di condividere con voi un pezzetto della mia terra è troppo forte.

Agli inizi di Aprile mi sono regalata 3 giorni di vacanza e sono andata in Umbria, secondo me una delle regioni più belle d'Italia

Ecco qualche foto, prese in prestito dalla rete perchè io, come al solito, non ne ho fatte :oP

Little, very little time but the wish of sharing with you a bit of my homeland is too strong.

At the beginning of April I spoilt myself with 3 days of holidays and I went to Umbria, to me one of the most beautiful regions in Italy and the only one without access to the sea.

This is Castel Valenzino where we lodged.
It is closed to Umbertide and placed in the middle of a magical triangle between Gubbio, Perugia and the Trasimeno Lake.

§ Oggi ho fatto un'esperienza nuova e MOLTO divertente.
Anche impegnativa ma tutte le cose nuove lo sono soprattutto quelle che ci richiedono di superare un po' i nostri limiti.

Oggi ho seguito un workshop Burlesque della durata dell'intera giornata sul tema della Sirena e la musica dell'act singolo che ognuna di noi doveva improvvisare era questa.
Ovviamente solo i primi due minuti ( che sono sembrati lunghissimi!!!), io non avrei mai potuto reggere l'intero pezzo.

E'stata una giornata bellissima, esilarante e utilissima dal punto di vista umano

Today I made a new experience and a VERY enjoyable one.
It was also demanding but all new experiences are especially those which ask us to  go beyond our limits.

§ Today I followed  a whole day Burlesque workshop on the theme of the Mermaid and the music for the single act which each one of us had to improvise was this.
Obviously only the first two minutes (which seemed incredibly looooong!), I could have never done the whole piece.

It has been a wonderful, uproarious day and most useful from the human side.

What should I say more?

I ballerini sono straordinariamente sincronizzati ma l'aspetto fantastico è che sono tutti sordomuti e si muovono seguendo le indicazioni delle figure bianco vestite negli angoli del palcoscenico.

§ My friend Ulf sent me the link to this beautiful ballett and I had to share it with you.
The dancers are extraordinarily sincronized but the most wonderful feature is that they are all deaf anddumb and they move following the signs of the white clad ladies in the corners of the stage.

As many of you know I have the whim of buying things similar or equal to those I already have at home in realscale.

The fluted glass bowl comes from UK made by Glass Craft but I purchased it from Carlotta and Luciano of Cinen.

I made the oranges last night since the heavy snowing prevented me from going to my Tango class.

§ Oggi nevicava ma nevicava ma nevicava come non avevo mai visto a Genova!

Giornata ideale per stare in casa e giocare un po' :o)

Ma ieri è stato il vero giorno del gioco: la gita annuale a Miniaturitalia con le amiche.

Ormai vado alle fiere principalmente per incontrare le amiche e ciacolare :o))

§ Today it snowed, it snowed and it kept snowing like I have never seen in Genoa !

Ideal day to stay at home and play a bit :o) 

But the real play day was yesterday: the annual trip to Miniaturitalia with the friends.

At the moment I mostly go to fairs to meet friends and chit chat :o))

Té del pomeriggio - Afternoon tea

§ Vi presento i miei nuovi copriteiera ispirati a Laduree e ai suoi dolci

§ Let me introduce you to my new teacozies inspired by Laduree and its sweets

§  La teiera è di Stokesay Ware, i biscotti di Paris Miniatures e la tazza con il piattino sono un kit di True2scale che ho fatto l'anno scorso.
§ The teapot is by Stokesay Ware, the cookies by Paris Miniatures,while cup and saucer are made by me with a kit by True2scale.

§ Ecco un primo piano, purtroppo la luce era orribile ed i colori sono falsati . Ho usato 19 colori per ricamarlo ed è tratto da uno schema Francese che ho adattato alle miniature.

§ Here is a close up, alas the light was terrible and the colours are unreal.I used 19 hues of threads to stitch it and it comes from a French pattern which I adapted to mini use.

§ I was inspired by Spring gardens and it is purposely rustic. I left a bare background stitching only the decor.

§ Il fondo è di lino rosa pallidissimo e mi sono divertita a inventarmi fiori colorati :o)
§ The background is a very soft pink linen and I had fun making up colourfull flowers :o)
