§ Queste meraviglie le avevo ammirate a Milano ma, per il solito motivo...pochi soldini con me ;o), non ho potuto comprarli

§ I admired these wonders in Milan but, for the usual reason, little money left ;o), I didn't buy them.

§ Appena tornata a Genova però ho cercato Ketty su FB e le ho chiesto se potevo comprare i suoi lavori on line

§ As soon as I came back to Genoa I looked for Ketty on FB and asked her if I might buy her works on line

§ Mi ha detto di sì  ((^_^))

§ She said yes  ((^_^))

§ E così i germogli nelle uova sono arrivati da me  :o))))
§ Thus the sprouts inside the eggshells arrived to me  :o))))

§ Non solo loro però             § But not only them

§ Anche un alberello e tante casine piccine picciò

§ Also a wee tree and many teeny tiny houses

§ Ogni casina ha un minuscolo anello per appenderla ai rametti

§ Each little house has a diminutive hook to suspend it on the small branches

§ La scatola è un gioiellino         § The box is a small jewel

§ Tutti i lati delle casine sono diversi !

§ Every side of the teeny houses is different from the other

§ E' una splendida decorazione per Pasqua

§ It's a stunning decoration for Easter

§ E i dettagli sono meravigliosi !!
§ And the details are marvellous !!

§ Grazie Ketty , sono bellissime miniature e mi donano sorrisi ogni volta che le guardo

L'anno scorso ero a Dubai, e va bè non mi lamento, ma nel 2014 ero a letto con la febbre :o(
Quest'anno non mi può fermare nessuno, neppure l'allerta meteo !!

MILANO ....... ARRIVO !!!!

Last year I was in Dubai, not that I am complaining, but in 2014 I was bed ridden by the flue  :o(
This year nothing can stop me, not even the foul weather alert !!

MINIATURITALIA

§ Come ogni anno, da 10 anni a questa parte, le miniaturiste Italiane e non avranno il loro momento di gloria a Milano a Miniaturitalia.

Questa è l'unica vera Fiera Italiana e nel corso degli anni l'ho vista crescere e migliorare ed è anche una grande occasione per rivedere vecchie amiche ed incontrarne di nuove.

Purtroppo in questi giorni sono a letto con l'influenza e potrei essere impossibilitata a partecipare :o(((

Sarebbe un vero dolore per me che pregusto questo momento da un anno all'altro....

Auguro comunque a tutti i partecipanti, espositori o appassionati collezionisti di divertirsi un mondo.

§ This year, as it has been for the last 10 years, Italian and not miniaturists will have their moment of glory in Milan at Miniaturitalia.

This is the only real Italian Fair and during the years I saw it grow and get better and it is also a great occasion to see old friends and meet new ones.

Alas in these days I am bed ridden because of a bad flue and it might be impossible for me to go

:o(((

It would be a real pain for me, I look forward to this moment every year....

Anyway I wish everyone, exhibitors or passionate collectors to have a ball of fun.

§ Qualcuna delle mie lettrici si ricorderà della fiera di Arnhem .... sì, proprio quella, dove ho speso così tanto che le mie fedeli amiche hanno approntato un kit di sopravvivenza per permettermi di superare la serata ;o)
Stavolta NON è andata così...

§ Some of my followers will remember of Arnhem fair ...., yes, that one, where I spent so much money that my faithfull friends prepared for me a survival kit to stand the night ;o)

Come molti sanno io ho la mania di comprare cose simili o uguali a quelle che ho già in casa in scala reale.

La coppa di vetro ondulato viene dall'Inghilterra da Glass Craft ma l'ho acquistata da Carlotta e Luciano di Cinen.

Le arance le ho fatte ieri sera approfittando della nevicata che mi ha impedito di andare al corso di 

Tango e qui potete vedere le due "sorelline" vicine.

As many of you know I have the whim of buying things similar or equal to those I already have at home in realscale.

The fluted glass bowl comes from UK made by Glass Craft but I purchased it from Carlotta and Luciano of Cinen.

I made the oranges last night since the heavy snowing prevented me from going to my Tango class.

Here you can see the two "sisters"close by.

§ Oggi nevicava ma nevicava ma nevicava come non avevo mai visto a Genova!

Giornata ideale per stare in casa e giocare un po' :o)

Ma ieri è stato il vero giorno del gioco: la gita annuale a Miniaturitalia con le amiche.

Ormai vado alle fiere principalmente per incontrare le amiche e ciacolare :o))

§ Today it snowed, it snowed and it kept snowing like I have never seen in Genoa !

Ideal day to stay at home and play a bit :o) 

But the real play day was yesterday: the annual trip to Miniaturitalia with the friends.

At the moment I mostly go to fairs to meet friends and chit chat :o))
