20 anni

§ Come passa il tempo....
Il mio bambino, la mia gioia, il mio orgoglio,  mio figlio Matteo oggi compie 20 anni.

Abbiamo festeggiato ieri sera con la famiglia ma mi sembra ancora incredibile che questi anni siano volati così in fretta.

Tanti auguri amore mio, possa tu esaudire tutti i tuoi desideri.

§ How time flies ....
My baby boy, my joy, my pride, my son Matteo today turns 20.

We celebrated yesterday night with the family but it seems still incredible that these years have gone so quickly.

Best wishes my love, may you fulfill all your dreams.

18 anni

§ Ci siamo, il mio bambino è diventato grande ma grande davvero !

§ We got to the point, my baby has grown up , truly grown up !

§ Il mio bambino è maggiorenne e sembra solo ieri che lo tenevo in braccio timorosa perchè temevo che si rompesse.
Era così piccolo e fragile , così tenero eppure così forte e nei suoi occhi si specchiava il mondo.

§ My baby is of age and it seems only yesterday that I held him in my arms fearful that he might break.
He was so small and fragile , so tender and yet so strong and the whole world was mirrored in his eyes.

§ Adesso il mondo è suo , deve solo afferrarlo e vivere appieno la sua giovinezza ed i suoi sogni.

§ Now the world is his , he only has to grab it and fully live his youth and his dreams.

§ Amore mio, tanti tanti auguri per oggi e per tutta la tua vita.
§ My love, best wishes for today and all your life.

CATALA' SOMNI

§ Sono tornata a casa .

Probabilmente qualcuno penserà che fosse l'ora di tornare ma , francamente, io avrei potuto aspettare ancora un po'.

Aspettando Venere - Waiting for Venus

§ Svegliarsi alle 5.20 del mattino con tuo figlio

Vestirsi ed arrampicarsi sul tetto del palazzo con il telescopio

Fissare una meravigliosa scintillante Luna piena sopra la tua testa

Guardare le rondini volare basse e nutrire i loro piccini

Annusare la fragranza della focaccia che cuoce nel forno dirimpetto e che impregna l'aria

Aspettare l'alba sulla cima delle colline perchè questa mattina Venere, la Terra ed il Sole hanno un appuntamento che non si ripeterà fino al 2117

Chiacchierare con tuo figlio di sciocchezze e di cose importanti , schioccargli un bacio di tanto in tanto anche se fa finta che non gli piaccia

Ammirare i primi raggi  che salgono dai boschi lontani lontani e preparare la macchina fotografica ed il filtro solare

E d ecco , tutto ad un tratto, il Sole e la sua amica

Seguire il loro cammino finchè non si separano di nuovo per i prossimi 105 anni

Sorridersi a vicenda

Tornare giù, fare colazione con calma , prepararsi per la scuola ed il lavoro

Potete immaginare un modo migliore per iniziare una giornata?

§ Wake up at 5.20 am with your son

Get ready and climb on top of the roof with your telescope

Stare at a full shining beautiful Moon over your head

Look at the swallows flying low and feeding their babies

Smell the fragrance of baking focaccia soaking the air from the nearby bakery

Wait for the sunrise on top of hills because this morning Venus , Earth and the Sun have an appointment which will not be repeated till 2117

Chat with your son of nuisances and important things , flew a kiss to him from time to time even though he pretends not to to like them

Admire the first rays coming up the woods far far away and get ready with the camera and sun filter

And all of a sudden , look, here is the Sun and his friend

Follow their walk till they separate again for the next 105 years

Smile at each other

Climb back , have a leisurely breakfast , get ready for school and work

Can you think of a better way to start the day ?
